Bahrain Mirror: National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)'s vice president Abdullah Al-Dirazi said that the institution will submit its report that is similar to the convention against torture to the competent commission at the end of March, and that the commission will discuss Bahrain's periodic report at the end of April, indicating that the institution presented its report about Bahrain in the framework of the universal periodic review mechanism on September 20, 2016.

This came during discussing draft law that amends some provision regarding the establishment of NIHR during the Shura Council session on Sunday (March 12, 2017).
