Court Rejects NIHR Lawsuit to Restore Building it bought for Million BD, Revealed it is Owned by Another Person

Bahrain Mirror: The civilian court rejected a lawsuit submitted by the National Institution for Human Rights in which it demanded to consider the contract between the landlord and the tenant formal, after it paid one million BD to the tenant who leased it from the sublet.

The fifth high civilian court rejected the lawsuit and bound the institution to pay 12.000 BD. Thus, the institution will have paid one million BD for the building that it rents monthly for 65000 BD and it has to pay 45.000 BD for late rentals and evacuate the building. The court also bound it to pay 12.000 BD for the lawsuit expenses.
