Bahrain Mirror: Teachers were surprised by the decision of the Ministry of Education to replace and change results of the first place on the honor's list of Bahrain's primary schools. The amendment came around a week after they were adopted by the Minister of Education Majid al-Nuaimi, and officially announced in the press (June 5, 2017).

Student Sajida Hussein Isa al-Abed from Sitra Primary school for girls, came in first place in Bahraini primary level schools for the academic year 2017-2018, scoring 99.82%. However, the Ministry changed on Wednesday (June 14, 2017) the results, and decided that student Shajan Abdul Hakim Ali Muhaidat scored first place on the honors list.

On its official "Instagram" page, the Ministry said that "After the grievances results were out, the student Shajan Abdul Hakim Ali Muhaidat, from East Riffa primary school for girls, was the one to come in first place on the honor's list of primary schools for the 2016/2017 academic years, with a 99.83% score."

This has raised eyebrows because the ministry had instructed school administrations earlier this year not to open the door for grievance for the results of the primary levels.

Some teachers, who spoke to "Bahrain Mirror" but refused to disclose their names, since they are not authorized to talk on the matter, said that their schools' administrations received official notice not to allows any grievances.

They also wondered how the grievance and review of results happened in a record time, not more than a week, confirming that all applications of students who tried to apply for grievances after the results were out, were rejected.
