Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Information Minister Ali Al-Romaihi slammed the Qatari Al-Jazeera channel for hosting Bahraini dissidents he dubbed "outlaws", claiming that Bahrain is the most country that suffered from Al-Jazeera's negative reports.

In an interview with Bahrain TV, he said that the channel has reached now "media bankruptcy", adding that it survives on crises and the continuation of the crisis means the continuation of Al-Jazeera".

He went on to say that "Bahrain has long been suffering from the Al Jazeera Satellite Channel. Al Jazeera relies on the virtual world with its wide spectrum of fake and bogus accounts for its statistics and public opinion surveys. The channel has broadcast more than 900 negative reports and news items on Bahrain. The Qatari citizens who feel the brunt due to the accusations targeting their country have to realize the daily accusations leveled against Bahrain over twenty years (since the channel was established). Al-Jazeera selects specific figures on purpose to appear in its programs in order to defame the kingdom's reputation."

"Al-Jazeera intended through series of policies to defame Bahrain's reputation. It also harmed the GCC countries (...)," he further stated. The minister added that anyone following the channel can notice the media attack on Saudi Arabia, the UAE and GCC achievements.

Al-Romaihi stated the channel hosted some people, claiming they are human rights activists only to bring accusations to the GCC.
