Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities arrested a number of individuals taking part in a rally in which they shouted slogans against a sisterly country.

Information indicated that the authorities interrogated individuals who were recently arrested over taking part in a protest on (August 31, 2017) condemning continuation of Saudi-led war on Yemen.

It said in a statement "In response to the video of an illegal rally that showed slogans-shouting against a GCC country, Deputy Chief of Public Security announced on Wednesday that an investigation had resulted in the identification of the participants and the arrest of some of them," adding that the search was on to arrest the remaining participants because such acts promoted disharmony, affected civil peace and were seditious.

The Shia majority in Bahrain opposes the Saudi-led war on Yemen.
