Bahrain Mirror: Forces affiliated to Ministry of Interior launched vast security campaign targeting villages of Bu Quwah and Al-Qidam, hours after the blast that the Ministry of Interior said it killed policeman and injured 8 others.

Eyewitnesses said that the authorities blocked all the entrances of Al-Qidam village since yesterday night until Saturday (October 28, 2017) morning, which hindered people's interests and movements.

Raids carried out in Bu Quwah village led to the arrest of at least 9 citizens who were taken to unknown place.

Activists fear that the authorities would raise charges of political background against the detainees and extract confessions from them under torture.
