Bahrain Mirror: Press information stated that Justice Minister Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa demanded lifting immunity of MP Anas Buhendi, one day after the minister decided to dismiss him from preaching.

MPs Jamal Bu Hassan and Khalid Al-Shaer filed a lawsuit against Buhendi and Council of Ministers Assistant Undersecretary Ibrahim Al-Dosari based on leaked conversations.

MPs Bu Hassan and Al-Saher accused Buhendi and Al-Dosari of attacking them.

Buhendi said in the leaked conversations that "the King doesn't know about the hidden things and blamed his retinue," in reference to the royal court.

The House of Representatives is expected to lift immunity of Buhendi as an introduction to punish him. 5 MPs demanded to investigate Ibrahim Al-Dosari's ownership of properties, including Al-Rim Center in Riffa.

The regime wings are competing on controlling the council. The recent controversies showed that a large number of its members are under the control of the Royal Court.
