Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's senior Shia spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim will complete a full year of siege on May 23, 2018, said the head of the Bahrain Forum for Human Rights, Baqer Darwish, adding that the Diraz area will complete 705 days of security blockade.

The authorities imposed the house arrest on Ayatollah Qassim after an brutal attack on the protesters rallying around his house, which left dozens killed and injured, and hundreds taken into custody.
