Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): It is well known to zoologists that the rhinoceros suffers from short-sightedness, which makes it attack first without marking the target. Thus, the target realizes it is being attacked after it is too late.

The rhinoceros short-sightedness makes it crush its babies when defending itself and them, a fatal defect, so the rhinoceros doesn't benefit from its heavy weight although it's one of the biggest animals on earth.

This is the case of the Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who suffers from short-sightedness, which sometimes makes him stomp on himself and the regime he represents.

Without taking a moment to think, the minister rushed to his Twitter account, after criticism of Saudi Arabia emerged over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi in its consulate in Istanbul, and wrote: we will boycott those who boycott Saudi Arabia, in a response to "Uber" executive chief after he decided to boycott a investment conference in Saudi Arabia.

He wasn't aware that the situation is graver than he imagines. He got involved and made silly comments which he deleted one day after posting.

Let's have a glance at those who decided to boycott the investment conference in Saudi Arabia: US Secretary of the Treasury, British Minister of Commerce, Dutch Minister of Finance, CEO of French defense electronics group Thale, meanwhile, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde postponed their visit to the Middle East.  However, the institutions that decided to boycott the conference are: Google, BlackRock - the world's largest asset manager-, Blackstone- the world's largest investment manager-, J.P. Morgan Executive Director, president of Ford company, Huffington Post, Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered, Rothschild investment, CNN, New York Times, CNBC, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Siemens, owner of Los Angeles Times and editor-in-chief of The Economic.

The question is: Can Bahrain boycott all these states and institutions? The answer is crystal clear: what the minister said expresses hastiness and shortsightedness that he has been suffering from since he was appointed in his office. It also reflects a clear reason for the official diplomatic failure in Bahrain.

The rhinoceros knows its weak points and likes to live in solitude, in complete isolation. Despite this, some living things don't spare him, sticking to his thick skin to survive off its body's wastes, such as the parasites that suck about four liters of its blood a day, which causes its fits of rage, which led it to be nicknamed the dumbest of creatures, since anger is linked to stupidity and foolishness.
