Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society said that Bahrain is experiencing harsh and difficult conditions, stressing that Bahrainis are paying hefty prices for demanding social justice.

The society explained in a statement on the World Day of Social Justice that Bahrainis have sacrificed dozens of martyrs and thousands of prisoners and paid hefty prices from their livelihood as well as religious, social and political security to achieve social justice.

Al-Wefaq stressed that the people of Bahrain suffer from a regime that does not care about the most basic humanitarian standards and exercises the utmost forms of abuse and brutality against those who demand social justice.

It noted in its statement that all the obstacles of social justice are found in Bahrain, including the absolute absence of freedoms, widespread corruption, injustice and inequality at all levels, pointing to the lack of equitable distribution of wealth, and the seizure and appropriation of all state assets above and below land.

AL-Wefaq indicated that the lack of justice and equality even affects the right to a normal life and to employment and educational opportunities, and concluded its statement by highlighting that the regime in Bahrain is practicing a policy of bullying, opacity and manipulation to escape the reality of a lack of social justice, through the unlimited support of its allies who are silent about the regime faults and corruption in exchange for interests.
