Bahrain Mirror: Security forces prevented Sheikh Fadel Al-Zaki from entering Diraz to give an Islamic jurisprudential lecture before performing Friday prayers at the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Sheikh Al-Zaki said in a tweet: "After 40 minutes of waiting in queues of cars, I arrived at the checkpoint at the Saar roundabout, but I was prevented from reaching the mosque even though I assured them (security forces) that I have an Islamic jurisprudential lecture to deliver at the Diraz Mosque."

Military vehicles and heavily armed forces surrounded Diraz to prevent citizens from reaching the mosque to perform Friday prayer, in conjunction with an incitement media campaign against religious platforms.
