Bahrain Mirror: Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas political bureau, strongly attacked the official stance of Bahrain and the UAE on "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation.

"We did not expect anything more from the foreign minister of this country (Bahraini Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani) and the foreign minister of another Gulf country (Emirati Abdullah bin Zayed), and we would not be surprised if these two countries also supported the occupation forces with equipment and weapons," said Haniyeh in a post on the "X" platform.

Haniyeh addressed the Bahraini and Emirati regimes telling them: "You sold your Arabism, your Islam, your soul, yourselves and your dignity, and there is nothing left in you," and describing them as: "the scum of the Arabs." 

On Monday, October 9, 2023, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that "the attacks launched by Hamas constitute a dangerous escalation that threatens the lives of (Israeli) civilians," while the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation constitutes a dangerous and serious escalation.
