Nationalist Democratic Assembly Demands Release of Ibrahim Sharif, Stop Confiscation of Freedom of Opinion

Bahrain Mirror: The National Democratic Assembly called on the authorities to immediately release prominent dissident and former Secretary-General of Wa'ad, Ibrahim Sharif, who was arrested on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, for condemning Bahrain's joining the "maritime coalition" against Yemen.
The National Democratic Assembly called on the authorities to "stop the confiscation of the freedom of opinion on issues related to public affairs," noting that "it is guaranteed by the constitution."
