Bahrain Mirror: The detained figures in Jaw Central Prison called on countries to sever relations with the occupation entity and summon their ambassadors from the occupying entity.

The detained figures said, in a joint statement on, Thursday, January 4, 2024, that "the occupation entity ignored all humanitarian appeals and resolutions issued by various United Nations institutions and initiatives of governments and international organizations, and continued for nearly 90 days in committing an unprecedent crime against humanity, and genocide against the residents of Gaza Strip with the support and protection of America and western countries."

The detainees warned that the occupation "is still threatening to commit endless and brutal crimes, aiming to make Gaza an unlivable land and displacing its people, voluntarily or by force."

They called on the countries that met in the Saudi city of Jeddah and the countries that voted on the United Nations General Assembly's resolution to stop the war on Gaza to "move from talk to action by immediately severing political, security, military, economic, cultural, and sporting relations with Israel."

The detained figures urged these countries to "summon their ambassadors for consultation and suspend security and military cooperation and trade exchange with the countries that have supported the aggression so far, represented by America, Britain and Germany, until the war of extermination against civilians in Gaza stops."

They urged civil society organizations and peoples to reiterate the figures' demands to their governments, continue to hold peaceful popular protests demanding the end of war of genocide in Gaza, and tighten the economic boycott against the occupying entity as well as the countries that support its aggression, including preventing tourist travel to these countries.

The detained figures are:

  • Sheikh Mohammad Habib Al-Moqdad
  • Sheikh Ali Salman
  • Sheikh Saeed Al-Nouri
