Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Education removed educational exercises related to "jihad" from the new "Language Exercises" book for the Arabic language subject for fifth-grade elementary students.

A comparison between the new 2023 book and the previous one revealed that the ministry removed two exercises from a lesson, both related to "jihad," on page 11, the third section of the exercise.

The ministry replaced the sentence "The fighter (Mujahid)..." with the "The student...," and replaced the sentence "I found that jihad..." with the sentence "I found that knowledge...".
