Bahrain Interior Ministry Hails Coast Guard Efforts in Foiling Escape Attempt of 8 Fugitives

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Minister of Interior Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Wednesday (June 8, 2016), in the presence of Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al- Hassan, Coast Guard Commander Commodore Alaa Siyadi and a number of coast guard officers and commissioned officers.
The Interior Minister hailed the efforts of the coast guard personnel in "foiling a smuggling attempt of 8 fugitives convicted in terrorist cases via a boat to Iran." He highlighted the importance of professionalism, competency and coordination to ensure general safety and best services for the public all over Bahrain.
