Religious Reciter Abdul Jabbar Al-Dirazi Detained for 15 Days, Sheikh Al-Asfoor Released

Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Youssef Rabie said via his personal Twitter account on Thursday (July 21, 2016) that the Bahraini Public Prosecution decided to detain religious reciter Abdul Jabbar Al-Dirazi for 15 days pending investigations, over the charge of attending a demonstration after Friday prayers in the Diraz area.
The prosecution; however, decided to release Sheikh Saeed Al-Asfoor after referring him to the prosecutors. A number of Diraz residents, who were summoned as well in the same case, were also arrested.
