Sheikh Bashar al-A’li Fined with 50 BD for Insulting Council of Representatives

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court fined Tuesday (February 7, 2017) Bahraini cleric Sheikh Bashar al-A'li with 50 Bahraini Dinars on charges of insulting the Council of Representatives.
Bahraini authorities had initiated investigations with Sheikh al-A'li last October, along with other religious scholars, to look into speeches they delivered on the occasion of Ashura.
